NYMAZ is a key partner in the North Yorkshire Music Hub, which has been awarded funding from Arts Council England on behalf of the Department for Education from September 2012 – March 2015.
The North Yorkshire Music Hub aims to ensure that all children have access to music education in and out of school, through partnerships of organisations (led by North Yorkshire County Council Music Service) working to create joined up, high quality provision.

Through our network of partners, NYMAZ offers the Music Hub a wide-ranging overview of out-of-school music education and outreach provision across the county.
We are working with the Hub to identify gaps in provision for children in challenging circumstances and are initiating activities, delivered in collaboration with other Hub partners, to address these as part of our Youth Music Musical Inclusion programme.
The North Yorkshire Music Hub runs a series of termly regional hub forums to enable schools, organisations and music leaders across the county to engage with, and contribute to, the work of the Music Hub.
