About this project

NYMAZ was invited by Selby High School to work with them and other organisations in the Selby area who work with children and young people. Now called the Selby Hub, the group consists of representatives from NYMAZ, Selby High, 4Youth Selby, Selby Children's Centres, Selby Extended Services and the NYCC Positive Activities Development team.

In 2008 we delivered two programmes of holiday activities, funded by the Co-operative Group. This extended to a further five programmes of activity in 2009, including songwriting workshops for young people with special educational needs, vocal master classes and a series of fun family learning percussion workshops.
