Access to Music

Harrogate Theatre
We are a vibrant and exciting theatre working extremely hard to produce and host stimulating and entertaining theatrical productions as well as working extensively with people from around the district through workshops and the Harrogate Youth Theatre.

Rural Arts

NYCC Music Service
We provide instrumental and vocal tuition to pupils throughout North Yorkshire via our county music service .Come and talk to some of our past pupils who are now studying music at the Royal Northern College of Music. AMP Awards

Showroom Cinema
If you visit the stall you can find out about Film Hub North – part of the British Film Institute’s Audience Network. The Hub works with venues and event organisers in the North of England who show specialised and British film, there will be opportunities for young people to learn about film and the film industry once it’s up and running – we’re also a great resource for contacting film exhibitors in the region. You can also find out about Showcomotion our Young People’s Film festival, the BFI Film Academy for 15-19 year olds and National Media Museum’s education activities.

Anna Whitehouse, Ceramic Artist
A fascination in marks of erosion and an on-going exploration of tactile objects fuels the making of ceramic artist Anna Whitehouse. Her practice has evolved from growing up in Yorkshire and spending time outdoors. From scrambling over rocks in the Dales to scouring the beach for fossils near Whitby, these experiences can be seen echoed in her work.

Harrogate International Festivals
Harrogate International Festivals is a local charity organisation that offers a year round programme of Festivals, concert series, special events and ReachOut educational work. Events include the Harrogate Summer Festival, Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival and the Spiegeltent. Harrogate International Festivals offers a wide range of volunteering opportunity’s to get involved with our activities including stewarding at events, marketing and admin. Volunteering with Harrogate International Festivals is a great way to find out more about the arts industry and gain valuable experience.
