In teaching and running music and arts workshops we use our voices a lot, and our voices are central to how we communicate. Yet many people are not trained in how to use their voices well. ‘Finding Your Voice’ is a practical and fun workshop which aims to enable practitioners to use their voices more naturally, efficiently and effectively in their work. We will begin with a range of vocal and physical exercises, games and activities to warm up the voice, and explore in detail how it all works. Along the way we will also consider how we relate to our voices. The session will also include some group chanting and singing, designed to put the warm ups and activities into practice!
The facilitator for this session is Chris Bartram
This training event has been made possible through a partnership between NYMAZ and Accessible Arts & Media.
