NYMAZ Ambassadors ‘How to create a music event!’

Join us for another brilliant workshop on Wednesday 10th October, 6 - 8pm at the Green Lane Centre, Whitby, YO22 4EH.

We are really excited to have Sam Hodgson joining us to run this brilliant ‘How to Create a Music Event!’ workshop looking at how to develop your ideas, create something new, promote the event and make it a success. Along with some practical music-making to help you get your ideas flowing!

Sam is a freelance musician specialising in community workshops and composition for dance, installation and theatre. He is becoming one of the leading contributors to the Huddersfield music scene with his band Samh who have travelled the country playing high profile festivals such as Bath Folk, Edinburgh Fringe and Tramlines (to name a few!). His company Rattle & Thud are leading the way in local music promotion with gigs, videos, 2 annual festivals, podcasts, radio and Internet presence. Sam also runs a live music events venue called the Northern Quarter!

As you can see Sam has a vast range of experience and expertise and we cannot wait to see what you can all create at this next session! So come along with your friends, instruments, ideas and questions!
